Some of these issues have been resolved, but the road is still wearing away along the edges. Being a highly-traveled, narrow road, many people are having to drive along those edges, which makes them wear away even worse. If the road cannot be widened slightly in a repave, can a gutter edge and curb at least be installed?

The upcoming Georgia DOT , constructed next year, will improve Ellis Street up to 40-feet from the St Augustine edge.
