Description

This black land rover SUV sat in front of 3000 Madison Avenue complex with a flat left front tire for over EIGHT months. It was reported at least 27 times to the police, the mayors office and Bridgeport 311 before it was finally tagged enough that the owner hired a flatbed to take it it off Madison Avenue. We claimed for eight months that the car was not drivable, but it took us eight months to get the police to tag it and the owner to remove it. It is now back in front of building 2980. It has been IN THE DAME SPOT for SEVEN days. When it showed up, on day one my neighbor put a note on the front windshield, and as you can see, SEVEN days later NO ONE has taken the note off and the SUV has not moved. I believe cars in Bridgeport have to be moved on PUBLIC streets every 24 to 48 hours. We are not gonna tolerate this SUV sitting here in front of a building the driver does not live in (we have talked to all the residents and nobody owns the SUV) taking a valuable parking space. We want the police to monitor it and if it does not move, we want it towed. We have already been through a saga with this SUV. Where is this SUV actually registered? No one who lives in building 2980, where this SUV is parked in front of owns this car. Has not moved in seven days already! We are letting the Bridgeport police and the mayor know we are not gonna tolerate this SUV squatting here again. If it gets moved every several days then they are welcome to park on Madison Avenue. If it is going to sit in the same spot for eight months like I did last time, we are not gonna tolerate it.!
